Accounting Manager

Our esteemed accounting firm client in Moncton, NB, is in search of an Accounting Manager. This permanent opportunity is perfect for a CPA professional who embodies a client-centric work ethic and excels within a professional office setting among driven colleagues.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:
Play a key role in building client relationships to identify client service opportunities
Review of personal and corporate tax returns, compilation engagements, and financial statement packages
Produce and promote high quality client and business services
Provide staff mentorship and training to all levels
Coordinate and manage client engagement financials
Other accounting, finance, and special project responsibilities as required
Skills & Attributes for Success:
Chartered Professional Accountant designation
5 - 8+ years relevant public accounting experience
Proven proficiency in MS Office Suite, Caseware, and/or TaxPrep is considered an asset
Professional approach with an understanding of client-focused work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Dedicated organizational and time management skills with the ability to pivot between tasks and prioritize workflow to meet strict deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
