Were currently seeking an Accounting Support Clerk to join our provincially funded and regulated clients office in Halifax, NS. This is a contract opportunity for several months to support the office during a transitional period.
Key Responsibilities for the Job: Accounts receivable: invoicing and bank deposits
Accounts payable: processing invoices and employee expense claims
Tracker and order office and clinical supplies
Shipping and receiving of supplies and equipment
Other support tasks as required
Experience & Attributes for Success: Post-secondary education in business, accounting, or administration
Previous experience in a similar versatile support role
Experience with MS Excel and Great Plains is a definite asset
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
Reliable and dependable work ethic
Positive and motivated with a team-focused approach
High level of flexibility when working with others and positive interpersonal skills
