To date, Genesis companies have raised $700M in private capital, generate $650M annually in recurring revenues and created 2500 jobs.

Located in St.
John's NL, the organization has grown to 16 full-time, highly engaged team members and has achieved steady sustainable growth through the development of excellent private and public partnerships.
Genesis, a not-for-profit incubator, enjoys worldwide recognition, being named North America's top Challenger by UBI Global, being awarded Canada's Top Innovator Award, and was featured at the Canada-European Union (EU) Leaders' Summit in 2023.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO provides executive leadership and management of Genesis.
This includes the execution of the strategic plan, operations, and governance to ensure the organization's continued success.
With the support of a collaborative leadership team and committed team members, the CEO will continue to encourage Genesis' culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and community while maintaining and developing important relationships.
The new CEO of Genesis will build upon this success, continuing to reinforce the importance of Genesis as a critical part of the tech ecosystem of NL, and creating the conditions for budding tech entrepreneurs to flourish and become Amazing Companies, including nurturing a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.

As the ideal candidate for this role, you will have a post-secondary degree with executive level leadership experience, and/or equivalent education and experience.
You have an understanding of the tech ecosystem marketplace and are a collaborative leader, who is comfortable with public media.
With an entrepreneurial mind, you demonstrate creativity, innovation and tactical abilities.
You also demonstrate effective organizational leadership while establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with interested parties in the community, including investors, industry associations, academic institutions, economic development organizations and graduates.
