Legal Secretary

A prominent Long Island law firm is seeking a full time Legal Secretary with 3+ years' experience. This position will be responsible for assisting in the drafting, preparation, and formatting of documents; opening/maintaining client files; proofreading documents for accuracy; and provide additional administrative support including but not limited to scheduling meetings.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Must be organized, detail oriented, able to meet deadlines, multi-task and available to work occasional overtime
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills with the ability to effectively interact via telephone, e-mail and in person with clients and attorneys
  • Experience working with Trusts & Estates is a bug plus
  • Team oriented

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary commensurate with experience
