Depuis plus de 50 ans, Construction Gély se spécialise dans la construction industrielle, institutionnelle, civil et résidentielle en territoires nordiques. Nous participons activement au développement du Grand Nord et à la vitalité des communautés où nous sommes implantés.
Construction Gély compte sur une flotte de plus de 380 unités de machinerie lourde qui sont entretenues de façon rigoureuse. Notre département de mécanique est composé de plus de 30 professionnels qui combinent leur expertise et leur ingéniosité afin de relever les défis que présente la construction dans l'Arctique.
Basée à notre garage permanent à Iqaluit, la personne aura l'occasion de travailler sur diverses machineries tel que : des excavatrices, foreuses, grues, pelles, bouteur, camions hors route, concasseurs etc.
Principales responsabilités reliées au poste :
Assurer l'entretien préventif périodique;
Effectuer les diagnostiques afin de déceler les bris et les défaillances;
Évaluer l'ampleur des réparations à effectuer et faire la planification du temps requis;
Démonter, réparer et remonter les pièces défectueuses;
Mettre à l'essai l'équipement réparé pour s'assurer qu'il fonctionne bien;
Effectuer des soudures, du découpage et/ou du forage de métal qui sont nécessaire à l'accomplissement de ses fonctions;
Être en mesure de se servir et déplacer la machinerie ou véhicule au besoin;
Identifier les pièces de remplacement dans les livres de pièces pour fin de commande.
Autres tâches à valeur ajoutée :
Émettre des recommandations d'amélioration ou d'entretien dans une optique d'optimisation de la machinerie;
Travailler en collaboration avec les chantiers et ainsi participer à l'atteinte des objectifs et au respect des échéanciers des projets.

Temps de déplacement aérien rémunéré;
Les frais de déplacement, de logement et de nourriture (cuisinier sur place) sur le chantier sont couverts par l'employeur.

DEP en mécanique d'engins de chantier (l'expérience peut compenser l'absence de formation);
Connaissances en mécanique, hydraulique, pneumatique et électrique;
Minimum 5 années d'expérience dans des fonctions similaires;
Bonne capacité physique et habileté manuelle.

Débrouillard et autonome.
