Reporting to the Food Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
• Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience- in person, on the telephone and at the point of sale
• Product knowledge, whereabouts, and the ability to explain specific product details
• Provide Legendary service through serving guests, operating the point-of-sale system including processing payments & providing correct change
• Restock ice cream, supplies and merchandise as necessary
• General housekeeping and cleanliness of store
• Prepare orders correctly and within company guidelines
• Ensure safety is held to the highest priority
• To be familiar with and adhere to all Lake Country Co-op policies and procedures and be responsible in the areas of loss prevention
• Early morning assistance in Bakery with prep when required
• Other duties as assigned

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Customer Service:
• You must be a minimum of 14 years of age
• You are honest and trustworthy, are results orientated, and strive to be the best in the work that you do
• You are well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
• You are attentive to detail and have previous cash handling skills
• You have the ability to work alone or as in a team environment
• You have POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment
• You have an ability to fulfill physical job requirements - standing, working inside and outside, lifting 20 to 25 pounds regularly
• You have a flexible work schedule including days, weekends and evenings
