Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team. As an Instrumentation Technician, you will play a vital role in installing electrical systems for our client.

This temporary camp position is based at our client site in Wonowon, BC, and will commence July 1, 2024, until mid-to-late July.

What would you be doing?

Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain process instrumentation, communication networks, and control equipment, including flow computers, tank gauging systems, custody transfer metering, and associated equipment.
Analyze, interpret, and utilize the information in SCADA, LOI displays, and PID drawings to ensure the safe operation of facilities.
Support programming and troubleshooting of Local Operator Interfaces and Programmable Logic Controllers.
Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment.
Provide Instrumentation support and maintenance to ensure system reliability.
Use pneumatic, electrical, and electronic testing devices to inspect and test instrument and system operation and diagnose.
Repair, maintain and adjust system components or remove and replace defective parts.

Does this sound like you?

Have a Journeyperson or Instrumentation Certificate
Valid and up-to-date safety tickets: H2S Alive and Standard First Aid
CSTS, AWP, Fall Protection, TDG, WHMIS, and CSO are assets.
Highly regard personal safety and the safety of company assets and employees.
Self-motivated and capable of performing tasks with minimal supervision.
Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work well under pressure and handle strict deadlines.
Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs.), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.
