Site: SAGD Facility in the Conklin area

Schedule: 8 days on 6 days off

Travel: $500 per rotation, transportation provided from Calgary, Red Deer, and Edmonton

Accommodations: Camp accommodations provided

Stuart Olson is searching for Project Coordinators to join us immediately at our client SAGD facility in the Conklin Area. This job provides the opportunity to earn above average pay that includes travel allowance and overtime. Camp accommodations included, camp was built new in 2013.

Project Coordination

Price change orders, track requests for information, review of drawings, and coordination of information provided and required by sub-trades and suppliers.
Support the Project Manager and Site Superintendent to minimize their need to do task work.
Guide team members and decision makers to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective project delivery.
Prepare and update the project schedule under the direction of the Project Manager.
Update the project budget and cost reports during construction.
Identify, address, and resolve issues and problems as, or before, they occur.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with client(s), consultant(s), sub-trades, and suppliers.
Assist in ensuring project health, safety and environmental standards meet legislated requirements and company policy.
Support and track change order pricing.
Tracking of project scope, execution, progress and submitting reports to the client
Assist with budgetary pricing of engineered work packages.
Tracking of procured material and receiving.
Supporting time entry and work order tracking.
Participate in all Site HSE Requirements
Participate in daily field scope walkdowns and verifications as required.

Qualifications

Journeyman trade designation an asset (Electrical, Instrumentation)
2 - 5 years'hands-on' experience in the capacity of project coordination
Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities, capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment.
Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them
Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals; ability to work in challenging, fast paced environment
Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills, Microsoft suite (SAP, Maximo and P6 experience would be an asset)
