Job Title:

Primary Purpose of the Job:

To oversee the effective and efficient functioning of all programs and services
To ensure all contract expectations are met
To lead and model resource and relationship-building in community

Reports to:

Regional Manager

Direct Reports:

3.0 FTE: Job Coaches
1.0 FTE: Administrative Assistant
0.5 FTE: Recruitment Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead and model a positive and creative 'can-do' attitude, ensuring ongoing development and maintenance of positive and flourishing employer and community relationships
Report regularly and directly to the Regional Manager
Ensure RES program is performing well, through analyzing and monitoring data, building strategies and contingency plans to deliver on expected outcomes
Complete Month-End statistics and narrative ensuring reports are accurate and precise
Complete all file requirements, satisfying contract expectations, ensuring government and internal databases are kept current and accurate
Manage Targeted Referral Feedback Initiative
Recruit and Train Team members as needed
Lead regular team/case management meetings - allowing for consistent coaching and mentoring of team members and a consistent flow of communication
Perform monthly quality assurance and file management checks as required
Maintain strong communication with the Contract Service Coordinator and Regional Manager
Ensure the team utilizes a client-centered approach
Participate in internal committees
Assist in the development of promotional materials
The Program Manager, on occasion, would be required to provide coverage or carry a caseload if:
- The team is in a short-staffed position
- The project or contract are not achieving outcomes
- Wait times for clients become an issue
Lead efforts to ensure clients remain employed for 90 days after placement
Provide exceptional customer service
Identify and stay abreast of labour market trends/changes/demands through frequent contact with community stakeholders
Other duties as required

Qualifications:

Degree or Certificate in Human Services related area
Minimum 2 years of Leadership/Supervisory experience
Background in Recruitment/Placement/Marketing/Community Collaboration
Experience working in a client-based industry
Communication & problem-solving skills, exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills
Interviewing and Assessment Training
Current knowledge of the local Labour Market
Experience in human relations, communications with funding groups, marketing
