Fyfes Energy and Resources Group works with major exploration and distribution clients to deliver specialist mining, hydrogen and renewable energy, oil and gas projects across the country. The Responsibilities:
Our Perth office is currently looking for an experienced stress analysis Mechanical Engineer to join their team.
As a Mechanical Engineer specialising in Stress Analysis, you will play a crucial role in producing quality designs for our top tier clients. You will consult with clients and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including drafters, designers, and project managers.
What we will love about you:
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering
Currently based in Australia or have full working rights - possessing a valid working visa
Demonstrated experience in stress analysis designs within the oil and gas, and or mining industry.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Possess a solid understanding of ASME B31.3 and AS 2885
Familiar with Peng - Pipe Stress Engineering
Experienced in building load cases including slug loads, PSV reactive forces etc
Proficient with Caesar, EPDECOM and Autopipe programs
Experienced with modelling buried piping systems
Strong analytical and technical report writing skills
A strong commitment to client satisfaction and quality work
