Senior Business Analyst

Location: ACT

Initial Contract: 12 months

Extension: 6 months

Our client is looking for a skilled and dynamic business analyst who will be client-focused with comprehensive experience in business analysis within a digital setting.

Duties:

• Work in tandem with stakeholders, developers, testers, and solution architects to plan, develop, and test solutions within an Agile Scrum framework, engaging in sprints and workshops as needed.
• Organise workshops and other collaborative or investigative activities with internal and external stakeholders to pinpoint issues, develop solutions, and identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Generate materials such as user stories, journey maps, job descriptions, service blueprints, personas, wireframes, and functional specifications to aid teams in understanding and resolving problems.
• Offer input on solution designs that account for enterprise architecture, security, and data management, addressing complex challenges to meet both current business goals and future requirements.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a senior business analyst in digital projects for at least five years.
• Strong skills in liaison, negotiation, and problem-solving.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a talent for conveying information clearly and effectively responding to others.
• Experience in leading workshops for large stakeholder groups and synthesising their input into requirements.
• Proficiency in creating artefacts such as user journeys, process maps, functional decomposition models, user stories, and test cases.
• Experience collaborating within multi-disciplinary agile product teams.
