We are looking for experienced Android developers to design and develop world class mobile apps. You will be responsible to work closely with our team of skilled engineers to design and develop the next generation of mobile applications.

The ideal candidate should have technical expertise in Java, Android development framework & toolsets.

• You will be responsible to develop advanced app for android platform
  
• You work with cross-functional teams to specify, design and deliver new features.
• Lead in charge of mobile app development in the team.
• Implement latest technologies to enhance android app performance.
• Develop and distribute android applications in Google play store.
• Develop data-driven, interactive, web service based mobile apps on Android platform including the application architecture.
• You will be responsible for design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications.
  

• Familiar with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to handle different screen sizes.
• Knowledge of client server programming (REST/SOAP APIs) to connect Android application to backend services.
• Understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  Skilled in debugging, troubleshooting, performance and scalability of mobile app.
• Must have in-depth knowledge about Android open source concept
• Must have published minimum three application in the Google play store
• Knowledge about various services and components like Custom UI, Graphs, Maps,GPS, etc.
• Experience of working with offline storage, threading and performance tuning.
• Knowledge about cloud message APIs and push notifications (Firebase)
  Working knowledge on Web Service Integration ( REST, JSON, XML) & cloud technologies - AWS, GCM
• Should have practical knowledge about 3rd party API Integrations like DRM, EPG integrations, Live TV channels etc.

Code Editor

Coupled with OhMyZSH iTerm is the terminal on steroids. You can use a number of useful plugins and other features like autocomplete.

Travis CI

A continuous integration tool for all our open source project. We use it to run tests and check our code for coding standards violation.

Semaphore CI

Semaphore CI is used for building, testing and deploying our client code.

PHPUnit

De facto standard unit testing framework for PHP. Writing tests is crucial to write maintainable code.

Docker

Some apps are built using Docker images for easier deployment to various environments. In some cases, we also use it for easier local setup.

Varying Vagrant Vagrants is an open-source Vagrant configuration focused on WordPress development. VVV is ideal for developing themes and plugins as well as for contributing to WordPress core.
