About the role:

Within Gunnebo Middle East, the role of the Pre-Sales Support Engineer is to provide the first and second level sales support to the Entrance Control sales team in the physical security field, providing the required technical support as well as follow-ups on key project requirements.
This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, customer service skills, and sales acumen to effectively communicate product benefits and address customer inquiries.
Communication in English and Arabic are required.
The position will provide technical support to various Channel Partners and is required to prepare commercial offers for both direct and transactional business.
The preparation of technical submittals and prequalification documents will be required in this role.
The role can involve travel in the assigned region.

What you will do:

Provide sales and technical support to the Entrance Control sales team in the Middle East region, including product demonstrations and technical consultations.
Collaborate with sales representatives to understand customer requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions.
Preparation of sales proposals, quotations, commercial offers, and technical documentation for both direct and transactional business.
Prepare technical submittals and prequalification documents.
Conduct market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and competitor activities in the Middle East market.
Work closely with the product development and engineering teams to provide feedback on product performance, features, and enhancements based on customer feedback and market insights.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and market intelligence using the Gunnebo CRM software.
Provide post-sales technical support to customers, including troubleshooting, product installation, and training as needed.
Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to our products and solutions in the Middle East region.
Manage and monitor spare part requirements.
Who we are looking for:

Experience:

Excellent experience in the field of physical security systems (Entrance Control, High Security 'HVM' products, Integrated Security solutions, etc.)
Candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in a Pre-Sales Support function
Candidate should have a proven technical sales background in the physical security field (Entrance Control & HVM products)
Experience in the Middle East market is essential
Knowledge / Education:

Electronics | Engineering degree level
3-5 years of experience in a Pre-Sales Support function
Proven experience in technical sales support or a similar role, preferably in the Middle East market
Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic are required - any additional language skills will be an advantage
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
Experience with technical drawing software is a plus.
Exhibits excellent problem-solving abilities to address challenges effectively.
