*Description*
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*
1. Maintains the entire dining and preparation facility in a constant state of sanitary acceptance. This includes
but is not limited to the kitchen, dining room, all storage areas, outside areas, refuse areas, garbage cans and
all loading docks. Insures that all areas are maintained in a sanitary condition that meets or exceeds the
requirements set forth by Federal, State, local and Tribal (where applicable) regulations.
2. Responsible for cleaning and maintaining small wares and food preparation equipment.
3. Reports any problems with equipment and/or necessary repairs or cleanliness issues to the supervisor.
4. Ensures exceptional customer service is provided to all students, staff and guests.
5. Completes required reports and documentation in a timely manner, where applicable, and provides
management with required reports and advises of any problematic situations.
6. Complies with and implements the ROP Policies and Procedures as detailed in the appropriate
manuals/handbooks.
7. Ensures the highest standards are maintained to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct and to
ensure the program remains in compliance with agency licensing and ROP policies and procedures.
8. Assists with the correction of deficiencies and quality improvement efforts.
9. Attends and participates in all required meetings.
10. Ensures the safety, health and welfare of staff and students at all times.
11. Provides encouragement, guidance and resources to staff and students when needed.
12. Models and ensures all program norms are upheld without compromise.
13. Acts as a positive role model and mentor for both staff and students.
14. Treats others with respect, confronts negative behavior and supports confrontations.
15. Commits to attending all training and staff development classes in order to ensure sufficient hours of
training on an annual basis. Notifies supervisor if annual training hours are deficient.
16. Other duties as assigned, verbally or in written form.
*MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:*
1. Assists with special functions that support the effort of the company.
2. Participates in Site, Region and/or Company events as required.
*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:*
1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
2. If required to operate a company vehicle during the course of employment, must meet the requirements to
be an eligible ROP driver. Must possess a current State Drivers License and have an acceptable driving
record for the past three (3) years.
3. Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test.
4. Ability to utilize resources available to complete assigned projects.
5. Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence.
6. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
7. Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing.
8. Ability to work the designated schedule with the possibility of a varied schedule and overtime.
9. Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
10. Must have excellent organization and time management skills.
11. Ability to build and maintain positive internal and external relationships.
12. Ability to provide exemplary customer service to all employees and outside constituents.
13. Ability to function independently and as a member of a team in a multi-task environment.
14. Must be flexible and able to handle multiple priorities, with the ability to adjust to high pressure and rapidly changing business conditions.
15. Proficient in the use of computers and associated software.
