Summary
The purpose of this position is to maintain high quality pharmacy services to patients and their family. This position reports to the Pharmacy Supervisor located within the Pharmacy Department.
We are accepting applications year-round with eligible applicants being placed on a standing register and referred for consideration as vacancies occur with referral at multiple grade levels and locations. Referral is based on the date management request is received.

Duties
* Responsible for proper interpretation of prescriptions and dispensing of product prescribed, including the review of labeling needs for specifying directions for use and precautions as necessary, to assure proper protection of the contents and to the patient.
* Provide specialized services to assist patients with managing conditions such as diabetes, asthma, high blood pressure and other chronic illnesses.
* Provide information and advice regarding drug therapy and usage, drug interactions, side effects, dosage and proper medication storage.
* Maintain records, such as pharmacy files, patient records, inventories, control records for narcotics or controlled drugs.
* Perform administrative, consultative, or staff advisory work for the pharmacy program.
