Central Services Technician (In office)POSITION SUMMARY: Under general supervision,opens, processes, and distributes correspondence and filing. Processes subrogation intake under the direction of the Central Support Supervisor.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position may perform some or all of the duties listed below:

• Retrieves open and date stamps mail. *
• Determines appropriate recipient for correspondence. *
• Distributes mail to claims staff. *
• Researches misdirected mail, redirecting to the appropriate party/office. *
• Prepares, weighs, and meters outgoing mail. *
• May print and reconcile checks, as needed, for all branch offices.*
• Set up new subrogation claims.
• Other duties as assigned.

* Essential job function.EQUIPMENT OPERATED/USED: Computer, date stamp, scale, meter.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT OR CLOTHING: Appropriate office attire.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED.
