Early Years Practitioner Level 3

Nursery: Zipadee Day Nursery

Hours: Permanent | Monday - Friday I 30-40 hours per week

Location: ST13 6EG

Zipadee Day Nursery in Leek offers children in their early years high quality care and education in a friendly setting. Our team of staff are committed to caring for children to the highest standard because our whole aim is to offer children a happy, supportive, caring, safe environment in order that all who come to the nursery have an enjoyable day. We are looking for a reliable member of staff who understands our aims and commitments. We are looking for a qualified practitioner to join our team. The position is part time. We are looking for someone who is child focused, enthusiastic, hard working and friendly. They must be trustworthy, kind, friendly, full of fun and a team player. In return we offer a pension scheme, uniform and training. The successful candidate will be subject to the appropriate safeguarding procedures and DBS checks

Responsibilities but not limited to:
• Deliver learning experiences and planned activities for a key group that provides outstanding opportunities for the children
• Work within a team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children
• Work in partnership with parents to ensure the outcomes for children are met
• Assess and report on children's progress to ensure continued development
• Be passionate, inspiring and work effectively within a team and have a hands on approach to your own professional learning and development
• To be fun, caring and friendly
• To promote a high-quality learning environment

What we need from you?
• Passion and commitment for working in childcare
• Ability to work shifts between 7.30-6.00pm Monday to Friday working between 30 - 40 hours per week
• Commitment to continual development
• Have sound Knowledge of EYFS
• NNEB, BTEC Nat Dip, CACHE Dip in Childcare, NVQ level 2 or 3, EY Educator
