Responsibilities:

• Develop trusting relationships with existing and new clients, demonstrating a high degree of integrity and personal accountability.
• Discover cross-selling opportunities for other company products and services and refer to the appropriate business area.
• Retain and expand Horace Mann's Life, Retirement, and Wealth Management business in a large school district in Wisconsin.
• Lead in-person financial education workshops and enrollments at worksites with a high degree of autonomy and independence.
• Utilize data-driven insights to identify sales growth and new client acquisition opportunities.
• Access an extensive range of retirement and wealth management solutions/platforms.

Qualifications:

• General Lines Life & Health License
• FINRA Series 6 Securities license (Series 63 or 65 preferred)
• At least 3 year of related experience in a financial advisor/client-facing role
• Ambition to grow and expand your client base
• Exceptional client relationship management skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Capability to balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously
• Demonstrated exceptional time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive Life Insurance sales experience
• Experience selling fixed and variable annuities
• Familiarity with 403(b) and/or 457 clients
