Evaluate and treat patients referred by oncology with medical and mental health concerns, requiring short term behavioral interventions.Collaborate with medical professionals as well as patients to design specific goals for brief treatment.Coordinate patient care with oncology team, supportive services and palliative care, as needed.
Include family members as requested by patient.Provide consultation to patient and family using evidenced based treatment modalities.Utilize screening measures to monitor progress and outcomes to assess benefits of treatment.At UW Health, you will have :

Education :
Minimum - Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or CounselingPreferred -Work Experience :
Minimum - One (1) year of experience providing evidence-based treatments for a variety of mental health and behavioral diagnoses for children, adolescents, and adultsPreferred - Three (3) years of experience providing evidence-based treatments for a variety of mental health and behavioral diagnoses for children, adolescents, and adultsLicenses and Certifications :
Minimum -Licensed as a Mental Health provider as required in the State of Wisconsin (i.e., Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor-LPC, Licensed Clinical Social Worker-LCSW, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-LMFT)CPR/BLSIf Clinical Psychologist:
Minimum - Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Psychology (Psy.D.) in Counseling or Clinical Psychology or related field.Work Experience :
Minimum - One (1) year of postdoctoral supervised clinical experienceLicenses and Certifications :
Minimum -Licensure or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in WisconsinBasic Life Support/CPRIf Clinical Health Psychologist:
Minimum - Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or related fieldWork Experience :
Minimum - One (1) year of post-doc experience in the area of Behavioral Health in a medical settingPreferred - One (1) year of clinical experience or two (2) years of post-doctoral experience in the area of Health Psychology in a medical settingLicenses and Certifications :
Minimum -Licensure or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in state of practice.
