Position Name: Licensed Practical Nurse

Duration: 13 weeks contract
Shift: Day / 8x5 hrs / week.
Gross Weekly: $2000
Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs nursing care and assists with planning and implementing care for the comfort and well-being of the patient.
The LPN scope of practice is dependent and directed, requiring assignment or delegation by and performance under the supervision, orders, or directions of a Registered Nurse (RN).
The LPN participates in the ongoing assessment of clients, as delegated by the RN, supports ongoing data collection, and determines who to inform of the information and when to inform them.
Skills:
Wound care
Wound vacs
Catheter (foley, suprapubic, male, and female),
Venipuncture
Ostomy care
Experience with trachs and pleurex is a plus.
Varying and diverse diagnoses seen but commonly include HF, COPD, DM, wounds, Parkinson's, MS, joint replacements.
Education, Experience, and Certification:
BLS
LPN Licensed Practical Nurse
Completed High School (Diploma or GED)
Prefer 1+ year of home health experience.
