As a Communication & Network Application Engineer a typical day might include the following:
• Network Expertise:
Leverage your strong background in networking, routing, and Ethernet design to architect and implement communication solutions for SEL products.
• Radio Communication:
Ideally, you understand radio communication and can integrate them effectively into SEL applications.
• SONET Knowledge:
An understanding of SONET applications and design would be a valuable asset.
• Technical Presentations:
Be comfortable speaking to large groups-whether it's explaining complex concepts to customers, conducting training sessions, or presenting at industry events.
• Travel:
Embrace the opportunity to travel up to 25% of your time to engage with customers, attend conferences, and collaborate with SEL teams.

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• You have strong Networking Background:
Demonstrated expertise in network protocols, routing, and Ethernet design.

Knowledge of SONET applications and design principles.
• You have effective Communication Skills:

Pay Range Data
$70,000 - $108,000. Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
