Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in various electrical systems and possess a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and farm settings - Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical wiring - Perform regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with regulations - Utilize power tools and logic controllers for efficient electrical work - Handle both high and low voltage systems with precision - Collaborate with other tradespeople such as framers and carpenters for integrated project completion - Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions - Work on industrial electrical systems including motor controls and industrial automation Qualifications:
- Journeyman/Journeywoman or Journeyperson Electrician certification required - Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation - Experience in both high and low voltage systems - Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) - Strong troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving electrical issues promptly - Knowledge of industrial electrician practices, including logic controllers - Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects efficiently - Previous experience in frame carpentry is a plus This position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled electrician to showcase their expertise in a dynamic work environment.
