Responsibilities:

Drive one of several different shuttle or company non-revenue vehicles in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner throughout the contracted service area within a daily assigned time schedule.
Maintain a strong attendance record.
Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections as required.
Possess a functional knowledge of the demographics of the service area.
Stop at designated points to load and/or unload passengers.
May assist in the boarding of passengers using wheelchairs or other mobility aids and is required to properly secure wheelchairs and scooters.
Notify dispatch of deviations, overload, accidents, passenger incidents, medical/behavioral problems, or bus mechanical/electrical trouble.
Assure that fares are deposited into the fare box and dispenses information. Advises passengers of rules and regulations when necessary.
Complete and submit written reports concerning passengers and all accidents.
Operate on-board computer equipment, fare boxes and destination signs.
Consistently provide great customer service
Assume any and all other duties assigned.

Requirements:

21 years or older
Valid driver's license for at least three years
Excellent verbal communication & customer service skills
Subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
DOT medical card required. (We pay exam fee!)
