Slotting Specialist

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00/hr. Full timeplus $2000 sign on bonus + with full benefits

Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00AM until completionGeneral Summary:
The slotting specialist primary purpose is to slot new items, and perform item maintenance (discontinue, item setup, requested moves, adjust min/max and holding power) for maximum operational efficiencies and safety.

Use of Warehouse Management System.
Determine item slotting for maximum efficiency.
Coordinate and carry out the physical movements of product.
Works closely with Management, Purchasing, IC and Receiving.
Gather data from multiple sources for item move sets.
Monitor substitute items and limited time offer (LTOs) for food service accounts.
Monitor balance within pick departments and sections.
Maintain, use, and manage slotting software project workbooks.
Monitor non-stock location availability.
Gather feedback from the leadership team and address issues in a timely manner.
Other tasks as needed for vacation coverage.
Other responsibilities as assigned by manager.
Prompt email responsiveness and communication.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficient in Microsoft office
Strong communication skill verbal and written
Strong analytical skill
Must be self-motivated
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
Strong attention to detail
Ability to adapt to ever changing, high volume distribution center while working in cross functional team environment
Ability to successfully manage concurrent projects, multiple priorities, and meet deadlines

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent
Three years' experience in a Distribution Center environment preferably with experience in slotting, inventory control, or related warehouse operations.
