JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the general direction of the Director of Nursing Services (DCNS), will provide daily operational assistance to the nursing units.
Develop strategies to manage staffing issues, develop and maintain schedules for Woodridge Nursing units, other clinical and non-clinical functions as appropriate, and maintain payroll for assigned units.
Interpersonal and communication skills are essential for interaction with all levels of staff, as well as residents and visitors, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and support for staff.
An LNA license is required for this position.
EDUCATION
Current LNA license to practice professional nursing in the State of Vermont is required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
BLS-Healthcare Provider is required within six (6) months of hire and maintained as a current certification thereafter.
Associate's degree in secretarial science preferred, or the equivalent in education and experience.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently required.
High level of confidentiality and professionalism required.
Kronos, When to Work (W2W) and Office experience preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Three years of experience in a similar role.
