Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring a Radiology Technician to work FLEXI.

Premium FLEXI Salary!

Hours/Shift:

FLEXI rotating shifts. Department open 24/7, will need to cover all three shifts (first, second and third).

Will be rotating in OR, fluoro, ER & pain management
Day shift training will approximately be 1-3 months depending on experience
Call in rotation once training is done (generally 1-5 days per month)

Trade School Graduate - RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY

Experience :

Licenses and Certifications Required:
ARRT registry, Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must obtain ARRT registry within 90 days of hire. Basic Life Support.

Preferred:

Job Summary

Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include:
positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic Radiology systems and preparation of patient room/equipment/medications. Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required for certain sites that do both Radiology and Lab.

Qualifications:

TS - Trade School Graduate:
Radiologic Technology (Required) ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) - Certifications - Other/National, Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - Other/National
