We are seeking compassionate PRN Registered Medication Aides-MUST have active CNA certification to join our Clinical Resource Team (CRT):
$23.71-$31.71/hour
Requirements:
Premium pay for flexible work!
Various shifts available!
Must be willing to work in all levels of care and on all shifts
CRT team members will work no less than 32 hours over 2 consecutive pay periods. At least 12 of those hours will occur on a weekend.
CRT team members may not work more than 20 hours/week on average over 2 consecutive pay periods.
CRT team members must agree to work in any area - MC, AL, HC.
CRT team members will be required to work occasional holidays.
CRT team members are eligible for shift differentials and holiday pay.

In addition to being responsible for providing basic care and assistance with activities of daily living, you would be an integral part of a team whose energy, compassion, creativity and talents are valued and rewarded. Essential Duties:
Administer medications in accordance with accepted practices presented in the Virginia Board of Nursing Medication Aide Regulations.
Document in Medication Administration Record (MAR) all medications administered.
Check and record vital signs, weights and blood sugars as ordered and record (ADL's).
Successfully pass a medication administration observation at least annually.
Provide for or assist patients with activities of daily living as needed, including bathe/shower according to schedule, oral care, toileting, dressing, etc.
Assist residents with transfers and ambulation as directed and ordered by the physician using proper body mechanics. Use of facility gait belts and mechanical devices is required.
Assist other staff with heavy lifting, transferring, and use of proper equipment according to policy and physicians orders.

Qualifications:
High school graduate/GED
Current registration as a Medication Aide issued by the Virginia Board of Nursing.
Certified Nursing Aide Certification is required
The ability to coordinate programming each day for the assigned neighborhood.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including customer service, patience, empathy and compassion
Good collaboration and teamwork skills
Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations
Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for a number of medical conditions
Comfortable working with specific populations of patients, including elderly patients and those with special needs
Physical strength and stamina
Excellent customer service
