The Driver/Courier supports the F35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (F35 JPO) located in Arlington, VA.
Provide direct courier/driving and facility administrative support to the on-site government Office Manager and TPOC (Technical Point of Contact) by transporting senior DoD senior leadership within the National Capital Region (NCR).

Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

• Provide direct courier/driving and facility administrative support to the on-site government Office Manager and TPOC (Technical Point of Contact) by transporting senior DoD senior leadership within the National Capital Region (NCR).
Interface with program contractors, vendors, and government representatives regarding operational readiness of the F35 JPO shuttle.

• Provide required monthly progress and status reports for contract CDRL reporting.
Provide metrics on customer, miles driven, number of trips and shuttle maintenance.
Provide input to Facility Operational Status charts.
Respond to transportation-related data calls and Requests for Information (RFI).

• Provide driver services for senior F-35 government personnel on official business in the National Capital Region (NCR) using Government owned vehicle.
Function as the primary transportation of Executive Leadership Team and other designated personnel, as required, to official functions both during normal duty hours and occasionally after normal duties depending on event timeline.

• Support outside of normal operating hours may be required depending on meeting, schedule, and location.
Master physical location of travel destinations, potential alternate routes, and emergency contact information.
Navigate and possess familiarity with typical meeting locations including the Pentagon, Capitol Hill, Crystal City, Arlington, and Military Bases in the NCR.
Assist in loading and unloading of individuals personal baggage and extend full courtesies to all passengers, such as opening doors, escorting to final location, providing directions etc.
Compose travel maps, routes, and alternate routes.

• Understand and anticipate local travel patterns, heavy traffic areas, and preferred routes.
Work with Executive Assistant to determine scheduling and transportation requirements.
Coordinate duties and activities with Director of Operations Facilities Lead.
Continually track and update seating and location of all F-35 JPO personnel.
Assist in coordinating personnel moves within F-35 JPO and alternate locations.

• Assist in maintaining and update the facilities continuity binder detailing the responsibilities, major projects, policies, procedures, and all deliverables.
Assist in planning and executing facility maintenance and space modifications to support IPT requirements including submitting work requests to building maintenance and interfacing with building management on special projects and unresolved issues.

• Provide support to the F-35 IPTs regarding facility repair and modification issues and requests.
Assist in maintaining and tracking physical property account (furniture, office and IT equipment) for assigned F-35 JPO spaces and personnel.
Manage the proper operation and maintenance of the F-35 JPO facilities and infrastructure.

• Coordinate and work hand and hand with IT and Security POCs.
Provide advice and assistance on facility operations and procedures, and space and facilities management.

• Provide safeguarding, control and accountability, storage, transmission, reproduction and disposition for classified material in accordance with Department of Defense (DOD) instructions and F-35 JPO Security policy and procedures.

• Work with F35 JPO headquarters and facility management on vehicle operational status.
Ensure compliance with company, customer and government security regulations and procedures.
Work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of presentation materials.

• interacting with senior leadership; obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance, and maintain confidentiality.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Active Secret Security Clearance Required at time of hire.

• Education:
High school degree or GED required.

• Possesses a valid state drivers license.

• Possesses a clean driving record (required to provide a current official copy from the state DMV/MVA).

• Consents to periodic and random drug and alcohol testing.

• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Business Suite Package required.

• Previous military experience is strongly desired.
