Job Overview
Primary job: Inspect and process MTU core components received
Responsibilities
- Inspect, identify, properly document and receive Detroit Diesel core.
- Package and prepare pass thru core for shipment to other centers.
- Perform cycle counts in the NAV System.
- Ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained
- Meet fluctuating daily production demands
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
- Prepare paperwork to be received into computer.
- Pull all cores for production orders.
- Follow all DDR safety policies.
- Assist other operations as needed, Freightliner Core Consolidation or Warehouse Operations
- Able to perform computer data entry and inquiries
- Ability to learn to operate yard dog, used for moving trailers in and out of dock doors

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Attached resume required
- Previous experience with core identification and product knowledge
- Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently
- Ability to organize work in an efficient manner
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
- Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve as necessary.
- Established excellent attendance record and performance rating
- Good math skills a plus
- Good memory skills a plus
- Ability to pass forklift certification and fall protection certification
- Great interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
- Constant Heavy Lifting Required 75lbs +
- Self-motivated - detail oriented individual
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work at heights on pickers
