We are looking for an innovative Senior Director of Product Management - Consumer Application Experience to help us do exactly that with our device and service management application across all screens. We are looking for someone who's exceptionally imaginative, focused, and truly excited about growing the Consumer Application Experience.

About the position:

As a Sr. Director of Product Management for Consumer Application Experiences, you will be responsible for the application, mobile, and web versions of the next-generation HP app. We're looking for a creative product leader who can define the product vision and strategy, work side-by-side with design and engineering to identify new opportunities in the hardware app space and help the team execute them. We're seeking a creative person who can deliver a truly awesome experience that is a cornerstone to HP's new Consumer Service strategy

Responsibilities and expectations include the following:

Research & develop the product strategy for HP's new app driven out of the Consumer Services & Solutions division and its next-generation product vision to maintain current users and win new users across desktop and mobile devices.
Work across product and infrastructure teams to establish data-driven requirements, manage their implementation and integration across the entire next-generation product portfolio
Drive infrastructure initiatives to improve the ecosystem as well as to manage cost and performance
Project management efforts across Technology and Design to deliver high-quality products
Partner with the other members of the pan-HP team across product, design, infrastructure, identity, security, marketing) to ensure a world-class end-to-end experience
Oversee product analytics, testing, and optimization efforts
Research and identify ways to test, confirm, and grow new products in the market
Experience and Leadership behaviors Degree or 10+ years of related experience, ideally in computer hardware, consumer electronics, gaming and software products
Must be passionate about building consumer-facing internet products through user/data analysis and competitive/market-landscape analysis
Record of delivering high-quality products on time
Good understanding of technology usually underpinning consumer hardware an d software
A strong mix of creativity, product instincts, and technical acumen, with a good mind for monetization
Maniacal focus on the user experience
Significant business relationship-building skills and comfort working in a matrixed environment
Practical self-starter; motivated to learn and improve
Ability and willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done
At ease with digital subscription business models, strong business model understanding / business acumen.
