THE JOB
This is Director, Nursing Post Surgical Inpatient Unit position and requires someone who has:
Associate degree from an accredited nursing school with a bachelor's degree in a health care related field or a BSN.
MSN or master's in a health care related field
2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position.
Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; CPR.
As a Director, Nursing Post Surgical Inpatient Unit your roles and responsibilities will include:
Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, proven leadership ability
hospital operational ability, and ability to serve as role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Director, Nursing Post Surgical Inpatient Unit who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Director, Nursing Post Surgical Inpatient Unit would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
