Access Sciences is seeking a Jr. Recruiter to join our Corporate Services team. This on-site role is based in Houston, Texas, and will support talent acquisition needs across several states.

Role Characteristics:

As a Jr. Recruiter, you will work under the direction of our Talent Acquisition Manager. Your primary focus will be to source, engage, and recruit exceptional candidates. You will have the opportunity to develop candidate sourcing methods and build talent pipelines.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the daily recruiting activity of your assigned requisitions, which could range from 5 to 15+ open jobs at one time
Source and engage passive candidates through web search, job board hunting, LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, and in ATS database for both active positions and future needs
Assist with posting and maintaining job requisitions on ATS and third-party sites (career boards, university sites, and niche job boards)
Screen candidate resumes to determine if skills and qualifications are a match for the job
Conduct initial phone screening calls
Schedule, coordinate, and participate in interviews independently or with Hiring Managers
Support Hiring Managers to ensure recruiting workflows are understood and applied
Create and maintain detailed candidate notes and interview evaluations in ATS
Be the primary point of contact for candidates for your assigned requisitions
Complete candidate reference checks
Research and help implement candidate sourcing techniques, tools, and methods to accomplish immediate hiring needs and build future talent pipelines
Participate at university career fairs and professional events to network, communicate our employer brand, and meet new talent
Assist in creating job descriptions, interview guides, and recruitment training materials
Assist with onboarding tasks as needed

Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Requirements:

1-3 years recruiting experience
Experience in candidate sourcing and building talent pipelines
Effective interviewing and documentation skills
Ability to attract and engage candidates to our opportunities
Ability to stay focused when hiring needs increase, change, or need urgent attention
Exhibit unwavering enthusiasm when working through ambiguity and sourcing challenges
Self-starting and productive with minimal supervision
Excellent accountability, follow-through, and personal organization
Able to write and speak in a clear and impactful way
Able to listen and ask clarifying questions when conversing with clients and colleagues
You should have a natural sense of curiosity and connection with people, and enjoy learning about their backgrounds, interests, and goals. This is the driving force of a successful Jr. Recruiter!
