Position Summary:
The Production Technician works with materials to create a finished product for commercial or industrial use.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate processing equipment so that the product meets customer product and mix instruction all process control procedures and work instructions.Understand and comply with procedures regarding possible chemical reactions.Follow production work order instructions.Labeling of containers to meet customer specifications and federal for maintaining a safe and clean work environment for 5-S compliance.General clean up duties; sweeping, squeegee floors, cleaning process equipment, and work areas assigned.
Must be able to multi-task.Understand and adhere to company quality standards.
Understand and follow all safety rules and company policies.Understand all work instructions for this position.Performs other duties as required.Proper use of PPE.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No formal supervisory role.
Education and Experience Requirements:
This position prefers a High school diploma/GED1+ year of chemical production and/or warehouse experience preferred.Required Skills:
