CDL Class A Truck DriverSpectrum Industrial Services, Inc., is currently seeking CDL operators to join our growing team in Nashville, Tenn., and surrounding areas. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to the safe operation of tractors and associated trailers, operation of vacuum tankers, bulk tankers, vans and roll-off trailers, transportation of hazardous/non-hazardous waste from client sites to respective TSDF. Tanker endorsement required HAZMAT a plus.Essential Duties:
• Operate trucks and other heavy equipment for transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous material
• Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after use; ensure proper maintenance and safety on the road
• Secure load and equipment according to regulations
• Maintains accurate records, reports and logs as required
• Follow delivery schedules and adapt to unforeseen delays or changes
• Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, and managers regarding job sites, schedule, and material needs
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain a clean work area and contribute to a positive and safe work environmentQualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
• 3+ years of experience in driving heavy trucks and operating equipment
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety standards, and regulations
• Ability to follow instructions, self-sufficient, and work independently
• Good communication skills
• Strong work ethics and reliability
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment when necessary
