Position Highlights:

Student Loan Repayment: This position is eligible for Avera s Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.
May be eligible for a $15,000 sign on bonus with a three-year commitment!
May be eligible for relocation bonus
4 overnight shifts per week

Job Summary

Verifies physicians orders, performs patient assessments and establishes treatment schedule and goals.
Makes recommendations to patient s physician regarding their therapy.
Assists with discharge planning and education of patients, families and other professionals.
Documents appropriate data (patient assessments, therapy performed, patient responses, educational and discharge instructions.)
Utilizes necessary documentation tool, i.e., log sheets, treatment cards, and computer logs to verify and record required information.
Maintains effective communication with patients, families and other professionals to promote team effort.

Education and/or Experience

Registered Respiratory Therapist credential issues by the National Board for Respiratory Care.

Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of SD.

Certification

Current BLS, PALS, NRP and ACLS certifications.

Hours

9:00pm to 6:00am, 4 nights a week, occasional weekend, holiday, call time; 72 hours every 2 weeks.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$26.25 - $39.50 per hour
