An anesthesiology group practice in South Carolina is seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist with a focus on cardiac anesthesia to join their team. This is a partnership-track opportunity with a group that is on track to do over 200 pump cases this year. The incoming physician will be expected to serve predominantly in a generalist setting with a focus on cardiac service.
Responsibilities include:
Administering and managing anesthesia during surgical procedures
Level III - some trauma cases
Performing cardiac cases, including valvular procedures
Performing regional anesthesiology, labor epidurals, US guided blocks, bread and butter pediatric cases in the ambulatory setting, and neuro skills are necessary
Supervising 10 CRNAs
Call schedule 1:8 with post-day off
Requirements include:
Proficiency in cardiac anesthesiology
TEE certification (3D TEE desirable)
Completion of a cardiac fellowship is a plus
The group practice offers a base salary of $500K and a generous benefits package, including 12 weeks of vacation when partner and 6 to start.
