Position Overview : As a Civil Engineer Project Manager specializing in Airport Development, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing a variety of airport-related projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and enhancement of aviation infrastructure in the Columbia region. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of airport engineering.

Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, design, and execution of airport development projects.
Manage project teams and coordinate with various stakeholders, including aviation authorities, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Ensure compliance with federal aviation regulations (FAR) and other relevant standards.
Oversee the preparation of engineering designs, plans, and specifications for airport facilities.
Conduct project feasibility studies, budgeting, and scheduling.
Implement effective project management processes to ensure successful project delivery.
Provide technical guidance to project teams and resolve engineering challenges.
Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and expectations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree is a plus.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of South Carolina.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on airport development.
Proven track record of successfully managing airport projects from concept to completion.
Familiarity with FAA regulations and airport design standards.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant design software.
Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to travel as needed for project assignments.
