Our client is a leading consulting, software development firm in the technology industry located in Puerto Rico, and South America is looking for a Senior Consultant Full Stack.
Job Summary
Participate in a team of developers where you can design, develop and maintain web applications. Use knowledge and experience to provide best practices to use. Being able to collect customer requirements and convert them into functional and efficient processes that can meet their needs. Support a team of developers with any difficulties that arise. Provide support to the client in any reported situation.
Responsibilities and Duties
Be attentive to the tasks assigned by the technical leader.
Collect customer requirements and develop efficient functionalities that meet their needs.
Analyze requirements using best practices and technology to design efficient solutions.
Recommend technology to be used based on experience and good practices.
Creation and configuration of development environments (dev, qa, prod)
Creation and configuration of components required for the projects (cloud, SMTP, SQL, etc).
Write code and perform advanced and complex programming tasks.
Ability to publish web applications on different web servers, Apache, Tomcat, IIS.
Ability to create and maintain tables in the database using best practices.
Ability to create and manage cloud components (Azure or AWS).
Support to Mid and Jr. developers with incidents.
Support to clients in any incident regarding the applications.
Maintain work organized and presentable.
Academic documentation on project development.
Preparation of documents for billing as requested by the client.
Education Studies in computer science or computer science areas.
Studies in languages for web page development (.net preferably).
Knowledge of the SDLC (Software development life cycle).
7 years or more of experience in web application development with .Net.
5 or more years of experience in Rest Api / Micro services architectures.
5 years or more of experience publishing applications on IIS or Apache web servers.
7 or more years of experience managing relational and non-relational databases.
5 or more years of experience in repository improvement (git and svn).
Basic knowledge of server management.
Basic knowledge of networks and high volume traffic management.
Ability to solve logical problems.
Capacity for teamwork.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Spanish/English language proficiency (verbal and written).
Presentable appearance at all times.
