Provide an iconic customer experienceAs a Customer Experience Consultant, you will be the vital link between a customer's at-home and in-store CarMax experience, providing a simple and seamless process.
You will respond to sales leads and customer inquiries, ensuring customers can buy the vehicle they want in a way that suits them.
You will offer support during every step of their car buying journey.

What you will do - Essential responsibilitiesConnect with inbound customers online and over the phone to find out what they want and need from their next car purchaseUse your knowledge of the CarMax inventory to guide customers towards vehicles that meet their needsGuide customers every step of the way, from online sales or appraisal to arranging finance applications and scheduling vehicle delivery.Ensure a seamless transition from online to in-store purchasing to provide an unrivaled customer service experienceMentor others as your skillset expandsAchieve sales targets while providing an iconic customer experienceAcquire the Automotive Sales Persons License in specific states - may require testing and travel as some states request physical presence to apply for the license.
Customer Experience Consultants receive an hourly rate, and after their training, have the opportunity to earn a performance-based sales incentive in addition to their hourly rate.

The hourly rate for this position is:
$18.00 - $26.70
Benefits:
Except as otherwise required by state law, CarMax Associates are entitled to the following paid sick, vacation, and holiday time.
Associates that are considered full-time hourly or commission/incentive eligible:
To earn up to 48 hours of sick time per year accrued on a per pay period basis and between 80 hours and 200 hours per year of vacation time after a 90 day waiting period depending on years of continuous service with the Company.For 8 hours of pay for each of a total of 6 paid scheduled holidays per year plus 1 floating holiday.
If such an Associate does work on a scheduled holiday due to business need, they are eligible for Holiday Premium Pay.
Associates considered full-time salaried are entitled to paid time away with no specified limit as needed for sick, vacation, bereavement, jury duty, holidays, floating holiday, etc.
