Powell's Books, the largest independent bookseller in the world, is seeking a Facilities Lead.
The Facilities Lead works and communicates across departments and locations to coordinate facilities projects and responses to maintenance requests. They will oversee the response and handling of facilities work via JIRA, and will coordinate the day-to-day work assignments for the facilities team. They will take a leadership role in evaluating projects and determining if outside resources are needed, and in scheduling and monitoring preventative maintenance tasks. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively prioritize projects in a rapidly changing environment.
Schedule is Tuesday - Saturday, 8am - 4pm.
Compensation is $19.00 per hour or more, depending on experience.
