Position Summary : The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for coordinating daily operations ofthe Treatment Readiness program at Multnomah County Inverness Jail, including staff supervision and scheduling, ensuring that services are in clinical and administrative compliance with contractual standards and OAR regulations, performance objectives, ethical standards, and best practices. In addition to supervision duties, the Clinical Supervisor provides treatment services and carries a caseload.

Education, Training and Experience:

A minimum of a MHACBO CADC Il is required.

Mental Health Licensure preferred.

Meet OARs requirements as a clinical supervisor for substance abuse treatment.

Experience in fully supervising treatment services preferred.

Demonstrated expertise in addictions treatment.

Experience with evidence-based treatment approaches including motivational and other cognitive-based practices.

Experience and expertise working with persons involved in the criminal justice system. Knowledge of criminogenic risk factors, key competencies and best practices preferred.

Effective written and oral communication skills.

Ability to collaborate and problem solve within a cross functional environment. Computer literacy - functional ability with Word, Excel, and Outlook, Excellent organizational skills.

Additional Eligibility Requirements:

Ability to pass criminal background check.

e If in recovery, able to demonstrate at least two years of continuous sobriety under nonresidential, independent living conditions for the immediate past two years.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise clinical operations to assure compliance v,oth OARS, contract requirements, and best practices.

Provide clinical supervision, scheduling, and support professional development for Treatment Readiness staff.

Attend weekly staffing and other meetings with partner organizations.

Build and retain a strong team.

Work with Prograrn Manager to establish target outcomes and implement strategies to meet outcomes.

Provide supervision, support, and additional specialized training to ensure excellent client care, including provision of services, timely and accurate documentation and billing. Represent Treatment Readiness within VOA and the community in a way that promotes mutually respectful, positive, and professional partnerships.

Provide direct services to a caseload of Treatment Readiness clients.

Other Responsibilities:

e Other duties as assigned by the Program Director.

Supervisory: Position is responsible for supervision of 3 or more employees.

Environmental Conditions: Works in a county correctional facility. Must be prepared to handle client crises and/or emergencies.

Schedule: This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week; schedule to be determined by supervisor.
