If you are friendly and enjoy being with different types of people then this would be a great volunteer role for you. We'd love to welcome you to the team at our Godmanchester store, where you will be helping us to fulfill our vision of making the UK the best place in the world for a person with a learning disability to live.

Money we raise through our stores means we can support more people with a learning disability to live the life they choose and we are looking for a team of volunteers to help run the store and raise money for Mencap. You can expect to do a number of different things, including serving customers on the till, taking donations, welcoming customers to the store and sorting/pricing stock.

If you are friendly and enjoy being with different types of people then this would be a great volunteer role for you.

We'd love to welcome you to the team, where you will be helping us to fulfill our vision of creating a world where people with a learning disability are valued equally, listened to and included.

What you need to know:

• Volunteer weekly for a few hours or a whole day (were open 7 days a week)

• Travel expenses are paid back to you (up to 7.50 per day)

• We will train you and support you every step of the way.
