R&D Engineer - Software & InstrumentationLOCATION:

Ariel is looking for a R&D Engineer to join our Research andDevelopment team. In this role, you willbe responsible for guiding test development and analyzing the results for ourAriel Smart Compressor (ASC). The Ariel Smart Compressor combines mechanical,electrical, and digital capabilities on a platform that monitors theperformance of our world-class compressors. Combining your mechanical savvy, software development skills, andhardware knowledge, you would be responsible for ensuring validity andfunctionality of the ASC unit for any updates, enhancements, or changes to theoverall system. In the position youwould serve as the technical resource for data processing technologies withinASC, technical documentation surrounding the unit, and test these changes forfield readiness.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or other relatedengineering field of study is required
1-3 years previous experience serving as an engineering resourcesupporting software and/or hardware, or mechanically related equipment
Advanced knowledge of conducting technical investigations and validationof proposed new designs and improvements under variable conditions andscenarios
Demonstrated ability to develop engineering test specifications andcreate test plans with objectives, equipment, methods, and instruments
Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge of data processing,analysis, and integration and data reporting
Advanced computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Office programsrequired
Strong ability to foster business relationships with internal andexternal customers
