Vaco has partnered with a global hospitality client to expand their Project Management team. We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their Change Management group. This role involves overseeing the complete lifecycle of information systems projects, ensuring they meet user acceptance criteria and departmental standards. You will be responsible for the development, implementation, and support of these projects, ensuring IT process standards are met across the Information Systems organization.

Essential Job Functions:

Deliver Business Solutions:
Manage information systems projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet user acceptance criteria and departmental standards.
Evaluate Business Systems:
Analyze business functions and end-user requests to determine business systems objectives. Conduct business and technical analysis to assess project feasibility and ROI.
Recommend Solutions:
Analyze requirements, construct workflow charts, review system capabilities, and write detailed specifications. Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
User Acceptance Testing:
Develop criteria and high-level test plans, and participate in user acceptance testing.
Document Requirements:
Identify and document project requirements, analyze complex systems and business processes, and recommend innovative solutions.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement in IT by developing and implementing strategic plans to meet technology and business objectives. Participate in annual planning processes.
Project Lifecycle Management:
Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and processes for all project lifecycle phases.
Team Formation and Management:
Form and manage project teams, develop technical specifications, and monitor project results. Assist with the analysis of complex systems and business processes.
Project Management Training:
Train less experienced project management staff and ensure consistent application of project management processes.
Information Tracking:
Manage project management information systems, including project databases, reporting, time tracking, and outage coordination.
Confidentiality:
Handle business-sensitive information with appropriate confidentiality.
Change Management:
Lead and coordinate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and activities, ensuring risk mitigation and minimal impact from change-related events.

Experience/Skills/Education:

Experience:
Minimum of 6 to 8 years in information systems project management.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) and ITIL certifications are strongly preferred.
Methodology:
Strong experience as a business analyst and project manager using Scrum methodology.
Tools:
Advanced experience with JIRA and Microsoft Project Server.
Financial Acumen:
Strong financial and budgeting skills.
Project Management Skills:
Proven leadership skills in managing multiple, complex projects through completion.
Interpersonal Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and make effective decisions. Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Collaboration:
Ability to work effectively with departments impacted by projects and understand the needs of all business units.
Leadership and Problem-Solving:
Provide operational guidance, motivate staff, lead diverse teams, and develop creative solutions.
Business Knowledge:
Basic competition, industry, and general business knowledge with sound technical standards.
Influence and Decision Making:
Convince others to accept new concepts and approaches, identify critical priorities, and make sound decisions based on analysis, experience, and judgment.
