This position has the primary responsibility of relocating and transporting trailers on facility property as well as transporting products and providing local pick-up and delivery duties. When not required to perform yard switcher or local driver duties this person will perform all duties of the loading dock associate.

*Schedule:*

* Weekend: Friday - Sunday; 6:00 am - 6:00 pm; Pay: *$26.00/hr* + $2.00 shift differential

*Duties/responsibilities:*

* Relocate and transport trailers on facility property as required to stage trailers for loading and unloading to meet required receiving, production and shipping goals.

* Transport product locally between plant and local vendors

* Transport product locally between plant and local customers & provide excellent customer service.

* Check truck equipment and supplies to ensure road worthiness.

* Maintains all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Marvin regulations.

* Operate a forklift safely while performing daily tasks.

* Maintain responsibility for proper documentation of department data.

* Ensure a safe and clean work environment.

* Responsible for maintaining and repairing shipping carts/racking.

*Requirements:*

* Valid Class A driver's license (CDL) is required; previous truck driving experience is strongly preferred.

* Must be a safe and courteous driver, representing Marvin in a professional manner.

* Meet all DOT requirements.

* Previous forklift/industrial vehicle experience preferred.

* Oral and written communication skills required.

* Must be able to work well in a team and work well independently (self-directed ability to follow directions).

* Basic computer skills are required.

* Must be at least 21 years old.
