THE ROLE

The Administrative Coordinator ensures smooth and efficient daily operations of the ministry.
The primary focus is to manage the day-to-day administrative functions of the organization.
The position reports to the Director of Administration but regularly works with many members of the team on a variety of projects and needs.

THE DAY TO DAY

Your essential duties and responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate entry of donor gifts and donor profile updates.
• Financial documentation and approvals for deposit activities, payables, and employee expense management.
  
• Assist with coordinating functions of the employee recruiting, retention, and offboarding processes.
• Create reports to provide insight into programmatic and development work.
• Support the program team with technology needs.
• Provide event coordination for both internal and programmatic events.
• Fulfill equipment and supply order requests as requested.
• Assist regional offices with facility needs such utilities and phone/internet services, janitorial and maintenance requests, and office setup.
  
• Organize the internal calendar for all team and department meetings.
• Manage travel requests for staff and the board of directors.
• Direct all incoming communications to appropriate team members (phone calls, visitors, email, packages, etc.).

Work Environment

• The normal work environment is an office environment with meetings offsite in conference areas, coffee shops, and/or other public spaces.
  Other working environments may include parks, event centers, and other family-oriented meeting spaces.
  Due to the nature of these spaces, weather and temperature may vary.
  Churches are a regular environment for recruiting and coaching efforts.
• Noise level in the work environment is moderate.
• The work schedule varies based on the needs of the organization and will have weekend and evening work.
• Travel to other regional office sites, team gathering locations, and event sites on an as needed basis.

Your education, certification, experience and/or other requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in business and a minimum of 4 years of working experience in administration or operations.
