Sr. Mortgage Loan Processor
Location: St. Louis, MO (onsite)
Pay rate: $24.00/hour
Contract to Perm
Responsibilities:
Performing routine data entry and validation tasks
Initiating third party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood cert, credit, etc.)
Reviewing and validating loan documents
Handling routine calls, emails and/or chat responses
Review each loan file to verify that documents are present, accurate, and complete before underwriting
Manage loan process through mortgage software system
Ensure that loan rules, obligations, and deadlines are met
Audit and prepare quality files that meet closing objectives
Obtain mortgage loan documentation for clients
Interacting with multiple departments to expedite processing and/or issue resolution
Performing other related duties as required and assigned
Demonstrating behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values
Qualifications:
Must have Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
Must have 5+ years of Mortgage Processing experience
Knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional, and USDA loans
Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment
Effective time management skills to deliver work on time
Capable communicator, written and oral
Demonstrated proficiency with computers and mainstream computer applications (Microsoft, Google, etc.)
General understanding of applicable Federal, State and Local regulations
Rate $24.00/hr hour W2 . The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
