KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Risk Management, Technology Data Organization to join our Risk Management organization.

Responsibilities:

Assist in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating technology-related risks to effectively manage the firm's technology risks; collaborate effectively with business leadership, project team members, and various review teams (for example, Security, Privacy, and Legal) to achieve this goal
Conduct periodic compliance activities to help ensure that technologies and processes adhere to respective requirements
Support the continuous improvement of Risk Management processes, materials, and tools by helping to design, develop, and evaluate risk management guidelines and policies; suggest changes and coordinate implementation as needed
Lead and/or participate in various Risk Management projects and initiatives
Direct and/or participate in overseeing and evaluating the firm's technology processes to ensure effective controls are in place
Assist teams in developing and implementing new technology governance review methodologies and protocols in response to emerging technologies, new services, or the firm's strategic transformation initiatives

Qualifications:

Minimum three years of recent related work experience in risk management, project management, IT security management, software development, IT operations and/or technology-related consulting; client facing consulting experience preferred
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
Relevant IT or risk management certification (CRISC, CISSP, CISM and CISA) preferred; working knowledge of Service Now's eGRC Solutions is a plus
Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of various levels; strong written and verbal communication skills; exceptional organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Hands-on, independent, and accountable management style; progressive experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing multiple concurrent tasks and projects
