*Description*

The Inventory Control Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of PLZ Inventory Control Specialists. This individual acts as a team lead, oversees the clerical, support, analysis, and research tasks, and reviews reports compiled for Finance and Operations.

* Oversee the cycle count function and make sure all cycle counts are performed in accordance with the established policies and procedures.

* Perform activities to backup and maintain the flow of work in the department.

* Maintain high levels of communication with the team.

* Set priorities and coordinate activities for the team to ensure task completion.

* Identify inventory variances and perform root cause analysis.

* Provide reports as needed for inventory management and operations.

* Communicate inventory accuracy issues and offer suggested resolutions.

* Closely work with Operations to achieve inventory accuracy goals.

* Ensure department satisfies all Internal and External customer requirements

Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.

* 5+ years Supply Chain, Materials Management, Logistics or related experience.

* Supervisory or Lead experience preferred.

* Excellent analytical skills.

* Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.

* SAP inventory experience strongly preferred
