• 21st Century Equipment in Ogallala, NE has a full-time position open for a
• for local and some over-the-road hauling of over-sized loads. Applicant must have current class A CDL and pass DOT physical, plus minimum 1 year experience with clean driving record. This position will be responsible for general truck maintenance, paperwork and safety reports. Basic knowledge of farm equipment helpful. Benefits include Health & Dental/Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Traditional & Roth 401k with Company Match, Profit Sharing, Paid Vacation & Holidays, and more. Must be able to lift 75 lbs., mount/dismount/secure equipment to trailer in a safe & secure manner, and work in harsh weather conditions. Pay range $20.00-$25.00 per hour depending on experience and may include overtime pay up to an additional $15,000/yr; reg 45hr/wk . EOE.

• JOB TITLE: Transportation Specialist

• WORKS CLOSELY WITH: Service Manager
• JOB SUMMARY:
• Operates vehicles to transport equipment for the dealership. You may be asked to instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures.
• ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (listed in order of importance):
• Safely transport equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities; may also participate in custom hauling.
• Maintains records of pickup and deliveries and obtains necessary signatures and receipts.
• Maintains all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA and company policy.
• Accounts for all time and for all distance traveled in performing assigned duties.
• Report daily to trucking coordinator for assignments.
• EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• 1+ years experience as semi-trailer truck operator.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• CDL License
• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to lift 75 lbs regularly.
• Must be able to work in harsh weather conditions from extreme heat to winter blizzard conditions.
• Must be able to mount, dismount and secure equipment to trailer in all weather conditions in a safe and secure manner.
